About the software - Express vs Enterprise

What is the difference between empower® Express and empower® Enterprise?

empower® Express is designed for smaller teams (typically 1 - 50 users) while empower® Enterprise is designed for teams of more than 50+ users.

While the actual tools are the same, there are some differences in how the packages are licenced and managed.

Licence model
  • Per user/per month – sliding fee scale, to number of licences
  • Annual or monthly billing
  • Flexible and adjustable to add/remove users as required (incl. cancelling)
  • No limit on number of licences, but aimed at smaller teams of 1 – 50
  • Can scale up to enterprise model
  • Annual licence model only – sliding fee scale, according to number of licences
  • Volume based pricing model
  • Minimum number of users 50
  • Can transfer to Express model if number of users reduces

Set up and system admin
  • All costs are covered by the per user subscription fee, incl. set up and management of accounts, permissions, template and designs, agenda and chart customisations
  • Free advice and guidance on set up of content libraries, template build and design and conversion processes
  • Additional costs for initial set up, training and admin
  • Self-managed (requires training at additional cost)
  • Range of training and guidance packages available on initial set up

Content hosting
  • Multi-tenanted, hosted on empower Microsoft Azure server (included in licence fee)
  • Can be hosted on-prem or on empower Microsoft Azure server (at additional cost)

Training
  • Free one-to-one or team training.
  • Free manual and videos are also available
  • Training packages available at additional cost.
  • Free manuals and videos are also available
