How do I uninstall empower Lite via the removal tool? (PC)

This will work for all versions of empower Lite below 9.6. For versions above simply uninstall using Windows "Apps > Installed apps"

These are the steps to uninstall empower Express Lite via the empower Removal Tool.

  1. Close all Microsoft applications (including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel). 
  2. Download the empower Removal Tool from our website here. 
  3. Once downloaded, run the exe file from the unzipped folder 
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions to completely remove empower from your machine. 
  5. RESTART YOUR COMPUTER (to ensure the install completes correctly) 

If you need to reinstall empower Lite follow these steps. 

  1. Once empower is removed you will need to install the latest version of the package:
