Links should automatically change to dark blue font colour, however, also manually bold and underline it to help clarify where appropriate

How to add a contact form link

  1. Go to HubSpot - Marketing - Forms
  2. Navigate to the 'Standard Contact form'. 
  3. Go to Actions - Share link and click on Share link - copy.
  4. In your article, go to the Rich Text Format bar at the top and select Insert - Link.
  5. Paste your copied link as a URL
  6. Don't forget to add the 'trigger' text, e.g. 'Contact us' and select the 'Open this link in a new window'
  7. Click Insert

The contact us and meeting links should be on every article where relevant and should be added to a Callout Tip box and can be copied from below. 
 

How to add document links

  • Save any documents into HubSpot first so the links always remain accessible (no limit on how much we can save - I think), using the Upload files option
  • Documents should be saved into Content - Files
  • Organise content into subfolders, so it is easier to manage and reuse content
  • You can see where and how many times a file has been used (and to delete any unused or out of date content)
  • Use PDFs ideally for documents (unless ppt or xls training files)
  • Links to these files can be added to your article using the Insert image or Insert Link option (select the File option from the dropdown)

How to add links to other web pages

  • Use the Insert Link option to add links to other articles
  • Select the 'URL' option
  • Ensure you tick the 'Open this link in a new window' option
  • A good example of this is a link to our sign up site in the callout box below

How to add links to other articles (v useful to set up a learning path or embed articles into one single article)

  • Use the Insert Link option to add links to other articles
  • Use the 'One of your pages' option
  • For the Learning path articles (or where there are lots of links and articles to add),  you can combine links to one single article to make the mass of information more navigable and to avoid overwhelm 
  • We keep the Learning paths articles in a semi hidden category called 'Training paths detail', not immediately visible on the landing page, but visible once a user clicks on one of the articles
