- Following your sign up for a trial or a request for a new user account, check your email for a message with the download link. (Don't forget to check your spam folder).
- Click on the link to download the install package.
- Ensure PowerPoint and Excel are closed (check background processes too).
- Double click on the .exe install file to start the process and follow the onscreen prompts.
- Once the file installation is complete, you will get a message to say you can can launch PowerPoint.
- If prompted to log in, please use your Microsoft 365 account credentials (email address and associated password) if you have a Microsoft Business edition 365 account.
- If you don't, we will have created you an account to use on empower and we will have sent you a login and temporary password to use.
- Following this, the initial sync will begin. This can take up to about 15mins (and during this time, you can continue to use PowerPoint).
- Once you receive the completion notification, please restart your computer to begin using empower®.
