Setting up your company content library
How to build and manage your company content library
One of the key features of empower® Express is the ability to create a content management system for your most frequently used slides, presentations, sales and marketing collateral.
The advantage of creating this resource is that it enables users to efficiently reuse, recycle, and distribute content, facilitating the swift assembly of new presentations and pitch decks.
The features of the Company library folders are:
- All your content is readily accessible directly in PowerPoint - it is very immediate and visual
- Content can consist of full presentations or individual slides
- You can create a folder structure for easy discovery
- Also it is fully searchable (including searching the content of each slide and metadata and tags)
- Content can be inserted to adapt to the current master or can keep the original format
- Slides can be linked to a master copy and updates can be easily pushed out and updated across the library, so it is easy to keep content up-to-date

Top tips
Admin: Decide on how to manage your content - central administration or whole team input and the process for creation and maintenance. Different permissions levels are available.
Subfolders: Create subfolders to organize your content logically and to facilitate easier discovery and access.
Names: Name objects logically considering the default alphabetical sort order; you can also use numbers and symbols to achieve the most logical and user-friendly order.
Search: In busy folders, it makes sense to use the search tools to find content. For more efficient searching, add additional search terms to names or tags to make the search more effective.
