As you are getting started in empower® Express, it is useful to take a look at some of the user settings and preferences that you can set to ensure a personalized and more efficient experience in empower®.
1. Setting your default template
- Send your template to Empower for initial setup.
- Access your template in the library by going to empower - New.
- Locate the master template folder and select your preferred template.
- Right-click on the template and choose set as default master or use the toolbar option.
2. Layout tools
- Open the layout tools in the side bar
- Go to the settings tool to add tool groups to the ribbon
- Right hand mouse click on tools to add them to the Quick Access Toolbar
3. Help and settings - User Settings
- Switch to the 'Simplified Ribbon' for a cleaner interface
- Tick on 'Apply bullets' for template related bullets
4. Help and settings - Charts User Settings
- Use this option to customize charting tool defaults, such as setting the default chart formats, linked items update behaviour, default points/series selection in charts, Gantt chart region and automatic loading behaviour
