Why can’t I see the empower ribbon? (PC)

When empower is first installed the empower® sync client must complete building your offline sync before the empower® ribbon is visible in the PowerPoint ribbon. To check if the empower sync is running; 

  1. Navigate to the system tray of your computer (usually found at the bottom right of your screen next to the time and date).  
  2. The empower icon will either be revealed by selecting the up arrow option (which looks like this; ^) or it may be on your system tray (see my screenshot below). 
  3. Left click the empower sync icon, then select “Sync Now” or if it is still working you will not be able to select it 
  4. Wait for the sync process to finish. Once done you must close and reopen PowerPoint to see the full empower ribbon.  
  5. If you complete steps 1-4 and the empower® does not show please book a support call
